We now know the dates for next year’s Regular and Special Holidays after this was declared by Malacanang.  The PH 2017 Holiday list was signed by President Duterte last August 16, 2016.

With this info at hand, we also now know the long weekends for 2017. If you don’t want to file VLs from your work, time your travel and vacation during the holidays or even better, during long weekends next year.

2017 Dates of Long Weekends

Eid’l Fitr 2017 and Eid ul Adha 2017 holiday date will be announced come June or July next year. The dates for these Muslim religious holidays are not fixed, and depends on the Islamic Calendar. So we have to wait for the next announcement by Malacanang for Eid’l Fitr and Eid ul Adha of 2017. Update June 2017: The celebration for the Eid’l Fitr falls on a Monday, June 26, 2017 per holiday declaration of PRRD.
