For those who chose to remove or delete the pre-selected seats for you during the booking process, there is still a way to choose your preferred seat even while you are already in the airport. ย You can go to the check-in counter and request the good men and women of Cebu Pacific for an aisle / window seats etc. Also, there is a better way via the self check-in machine.
We would advise you to just be early at the airport on your flight day so you can still select your preferred seat at NO COST by going to the check-in machine of Cebu Pacific which you can find at the gate entrance of their booking counters. This is especially applicable for those who chose not to fly with check-in baggage. Check-in via the machine will just take around 1 minute and then you are done.
Steps in Self Check-in using Cebu Pacific machine:
1. Key in your Booking reference code – this is the alphanumeric character in your ticket.
Example: PQYU17B
2. The names of those booked under the reference code will display, if you are travelling with a group and you are the first there, just select your name to book yourself.
3. The screen will then display your confirmed flight as well as your SEAT NUMBER.
Now, if you don’t like your seat number you can change it to the number you like.
Some people want to be seated by the aisle, some by the window. You can change your seat number for free, just click on ‘edit’ and then choose the new seat number.
NOTE: If you arrive late like 50 minutes before the gate closes, probably the ideal seats are already taken up so our best advise is just to accept the seat assign to you by the self check-in machine.
