Airlines like Cebu Pacific Air, Philippine Airlines and Air Asia is now back in business. They are flying on a limited capacity, mostly on select domestic destinations starting early JUNE 2020.
Some of their expected guests will be those Locally Stranded Individuals or LSI. These are mainly are tourists and students that were caught by the lock down.
OFW’s coming back home to their hometowns after their 14 day quarantine are expected to fly these domestic flights.
But before you can travel via plane, there are certain documents that you need to provide in order for you to fly. This is because flights are only deemed for essential travel.
These required travel documents can be acquired from various government agencies.
If you really need to travel during these times, best to secure these required documents for essential travel first:
LOCALLY STRANDED INDIVIDUAL or LSI
- Medical Clearance Certificate issued by the City or Municipal Health Office
- Travel Authorization issued by the PNP or the Philippine National Police
OFW or Overseas Filipino Worker
- Bureau of Quarantine Certificate ( BOQ)
- Passport with arrival stamp
- ID with proof of residence
Authorized Person Outside Residence or APOR
- Certificate of Employment or Company ID
- Medical Clearance Certificate issued by the City or Municipal Health Office
- Travel Authorization issued by the PNP or the Philippine National Police
Travel documents and requirements may vary from one destination to another, so best to do some research po on what kind of documentation your destinations require.
Travel for leisure or vacation purposes are still not allowed. Please stay at home po muna tayo mga ka 1 Piso Fare Family if there are no real reason para mag travel.
