Pets are considered part of the family. To many, they are are considered an important part of the family that they need to be where the family is!!!
You can see lots of people bringing their cats, dogs and other pets inside malls, park and other public places. But on challenge that these people face is that ” HOW TO BRING THEIR PETS WITH THEM INSIDE A PLANE”.
Sure, you can take your pets with you during your vacation. You can also share the same flight as them as you travel. But please be reminded that these pets can’t be brought inside the cabin.
Yes, pets can fly too, but they need to be placed inside a special space for them inside the plane.
At Philippine Airlines, you can bring your Dogs, Cats, or Birds on your flight provided that:
- The animals must be placed in a secure and leak-proof container
- They have valid vaccination certificates and exit and/or entry permits from the Philippine Bureau of Animal Industry, Animal Health Division (AHD), Diliman, Quezon City. Visit their website at http://www.bai.da.gov.ph/ for more information.
- Be accompanied by passengers at least 12 years old.
Your pets, cages and food will be considered as CHECK IN BAGGAGE. They will not be counted as FREE Check in Baggage as part of your ticket and they will be corresponding charges depending on weight and dimensions.
The charges below are for Philippine Airlines’s rates for Pet Transport for Domestic Flights.

Please take note that certain breeds of dogs are not accepted for Philippine Airlines’ flights due to health concerns. Dog breeds belonging to Brachycephalic or Snub-nosed dog groups are not accepted.
These breeds includes Pug, Boxer, Rottweiler, Chow Chow, Bulldog and others.
