How to Avail the Philippine Airlines Pre-Paid Baggage Allowance Service?
Prepaid baggage can be sold to passengers between the time of booking up to four (4) hours prior to the published Estimated Time of Departure through PAL Ticket Offices, Call Center, Travel Agents and Online Booking.
Yes, you can avail this service during your online booking at www.philippineairlines.com or manage your bookings by adding check in baggage allowance 4 hours before your fights, tamang tama after you’ve packed all your stuff and have time to weight them!!

Now we know… its better to pay 250 Pesos for 5 kilos of check in baggage than pay 200 pesos, PER KILO for excess baggage, talk about savings and thinking ahead diba mga ka Piso Fare?
Important Notes:
- 40 kilos is the maximum limit per passenger except for the destinations stated below
- Maximum of 10kg can be availed by passengers travelling to/from Naga, Calbayog and Catarman
- This service is Not available for flights to/from Basco, Busuanga and Surigao
- You might be charged differently based on the dimensions of your check in luggage
- PAL does not accept any individual item for check-in exceeding 32kgs and with combined dimensions of more than 81cm height, 119cm wide and 119cm depth.
- Airlines have the right to decline to accept your luggage so better do some research first on what is allowed and not allowed for check in baggages
- If the passenger cancels his/her flight, the prepaid baggage fee will not be refunded.
- If flight was cancelled by the airline and passenger decides to take the alternate flight offered by the airline, his/her prepaid baggage allowance will be accommodated to his/her alternate flight. Should a passenger decide not to take the alternate flight, payment for the prepaid baggage will be refunded in full.
