If you are planning to visit the Philippines soon, then there is good news for you. As of May 30, 2022, there will be no more COVID tests required for fully vaccinated travelers with booster shots. This applies for all Filipinos and foreigners alike. But there are still some requirements to follow.
Yes, now it is easier to visit the Philippines since you can now forget having any RT-PCR or any antigen test results.
Based on the IATF Resolution 168, all travelers entering the Philippines can now visit the country as long as they are:
- 18 years old or above and is fully vaccinated against COVID and has at least 1 booster shot already administered
- ONE HEALTH PASS is still required
Its that easy. If you are a fully vaccinated individual with at least 1 booster shot, then it is now easier for you to enter the Philippines. Any vaccination certificates that were provided from your country of origin will be honored.
Exempted from the pre-departure RT-PCR requirement are Filipinos and foreign nationals aged 12 to 17 who have received their primary Covid-19 vaccine/s that are included in the Emergency use Authorization (EUA) List or Compassionate Special Permit (CSP) issued by the Philippine Food and Drug Administration; or Emergency Use Listing of WHO. Children aged below 12 and traveling with fully vaccinated or boostered parents or guardians are also exempted from the requirement.
