Planning to bring the whole family to Manila Ocean Park this December or next year 2018? Why not, especially if there are various promos available for this popular Manila attraction.
There are many ways to avail of a promo from Manila Ocean Park. One, you can go to group buying sites like Metrodeal as they offer discounts on different MOP packages. Or you can buy your ticket direct from Manila Ocean Park on their ticketing counter at the entrance.
Here in 1PISOFARE we suggest you buy tickets direct with Ocean Park when you get there, so that you don’t have to print any voucher. And also because the prices offered in sites like Metrodeal are more or less the same with the package prices at Manila Ocean Park.
MOP PACKAGES and RATES
The following package options are available at the entrance ticket counters of the park. Buy the Manila Ocean Park promo tickets that best fit your outing budget.
*DEEP SEA RUSH ticket sells at P580 which already includes the attractions Oceanarium, Symphony Evening Show, Jellies Exhibit, Sea Lion Show, Sharks & Rays Dry Encounter, and Back of the House. This for us is the best package that gives the most value for your money. Now, since the kids will probably love checking out the various attractions of Yexel’s Museum especially the super heroes and the minions, we suggest you buy this package and then just ADD an access pass for Yexel’s Museum for P99. Yep, the price of the Yexel Museum is really just P99 if you buy your ticket direct from Manila Ocean Park. Your total ticket price would be P580 + 99 = P679.
*You can add an access pass to Yexel’s Museum to any Manila Ocean Park package that doesn’t already include this museum for only 99 pesos.
*OCEAN MADNESS price of ticket is P600. Attractions included are Oceanarium, Trails to Antarctica where you can see the penguins and enter the snow village, Symphony Evening Show. If you will not stay in the Manila Ocean Park until night time and will not be able to watch the Symphony Evening Show, we recommend not to buy this package since this is a bit expensive. It’s true that you will see the penguin behind glass wall, but if you want to go near them, take a picture with them, feed them with fish – there is an extra charge. Also this package does not include the Sea Lion Show, which here at 1PISOFARE is a must for first timers to Manila Ocean Park.
*SEA BREEZE EXPRESS package gives you access to 10 attractions! With the Sea Breeze tickets you will get access to Oceanarium, Symphony Evening Show, Jellies Exhibit, Birds of Prey Kingdom, All Star Bird Show, Sea Lion Show, Sharks & Rays Dry Encounter, Penguin Talk Show, Fish Spa and Back of the House. Why you will get this package? It includes the Fish Spa experience. But take note that this package doesn’t include the Yexel’s Museum. You will pay additional P99, on top of the P750 Sea Breeze package ticket price. So this is a total of P849 per person.
*MARINE VOYAGE is the ultimate Manila Ocean Park package, at a promo price of only P990. All these attractions are included – Oceanarium, Symphony Evening Show, Jellies Exhibit, Birds of Prey Kingdom, All Star Bird Show, Sea Lion Show, Sharks & Rays Dry Encounter, Penguin Talk Show, Fish Spa, Trails to Antarctica Penguin exhibit and Snow Village, Back of the House, and a free gift souvenir from this aquatic marine park! *Pay P99 for separate access to Yexel’s Museum.
BEST TIME TO GO TO MANILA OCEAN PARK
Manila Ocean Park is a favorite field trip destinations of schools. Brace yourself for a sizeable crowd of school children in December. Our team at 1PISOFARE were there last December 12, a Saturday and the park was so loaded with excursionist school children. That we felt the management should put a limit to the number of busloads of field trippers that visit the park on any given day. This way regular walk-in guests will also be able to fully enjoy the park without getting frustrated at the huge crowd of school children. It is SO HARD to take quality pictures when loads and loads of children are there, almost next to impossible. We can compare because our team was also there on a weekend last September and the crowd was manageable that time so not only do we have good shots, but we thoroughly enjoyed our September visit to Manila Ocean Park.
We suggest that you avoid December weekends to stay clear of the mega student crowd, and just to go to Manila Ocean Park on a weekday to better enjoy this marine park with your friends and family.
KIDS ENTRANCE
Manila Ocean Park gives free entrance to kids 2 feet and below. But practically only infants are 2 feet below, so more or less only babies are allowed free entrance to the park. UNLESS your kid or toddler is very short in height and can full fill the 2 feet and below requirements.
Kids 2 feet and above will pay the regular Manila Ocean Park rate.
MOP BIRTHDAY PROMO
Manila Ocean Park offers a treat to birthday celebrants for select packages. Just go to the park any day on your Birthday month and bring your valid ID that shows your birthdate as well as 3 REGULAR PAYING COMPANIONS.
This Birthday Promo 3+1 (the free one is the birthday celebrant) is for the packages Sea Breeze Express and Marine Voyage only. This is not applicable to cheaper packages.
If you have a company discount for Manila Ocean Park and your companions bought these discounted tickets, you will not get the MOP FREE TICKET for the celebrant. This is because this promo requires that the birthday celebrant must have at least 3 companions that will buy tickets at regular prices for Sea Breeze Express and Marine Voyage for him/her to gain FREE ENTRANCE to MOP.
PARK and SHOW TIME RESTRICTIONS
– Manila Ocean Park opening time at 10AM.
– Food and drinks are not allowed inside the park except for infant formula.
– Pets are also not allowed.
– Some attractions close at 6 PM, some at 6:30 PM, etc.
When you buy your ticket you will get a flyer with a list of attractions that you can visit, together with your assigned show time for Sea Lion Show, Bird Show, etc. Follow this show time schedule to avoid any hassle, as sometimes the park staff can be so strict. Example: They won’t allow you to enter the 3PM Sea Lion Show, if you are assigned to the 6PM show.
LOCATION and PARKING
Manila Ocean Park is just near Luneta, Rizal Park, Fort Santiago, Star City, and Mall of Asia. You can find this park near the Quirino Grandstand. If you are driving, take Roxas Blvd, and turn left on Kalaw St, then just follow the road, you’ll spot the MOP parking entrance easy. Parking is available for a fee. We paid P100 on a Saturday visit there for more or less 3 hours. We aren’t sure if P100 is fix rate whole day parking, or just a pro-rated rate.
Enjoy Manila Ocean Park with the kids, and kids at heart!
