The Holiday season may be over but the DOTC or the Department of Transportation and Communications will still be using the Premium Point to Point Bus Service where passengers can get from 1 point of the metro to another without any stop overs in between. This scheme will make trips from North to South or vice versa shorter and more comfortable because of tourist class buses that are catering these routes.
This will also entice car owners to commute instead of taking their cars to the office, thus decreasing the volume of vehicles in EDSA especially during the rush hours in the mornings and early evening.
And speaking of modern buses, the DOTC and LTFRB has test driven its first Double Decker Bus trip from SM North Edsa, Quezon City to Glorieta 5 in Makati City, today, January 7, 2016.
These double decker buses can carry 70 sitting passengers and are not allowed to pick up any more than it’s allotted passenger capacity. These air conditioned buses are suited with free wifi, a comfort room, lcd tv and vidioke machine.

Bus Fare from SM Mega Mall to Glorietta in Ayala Center, Makati is 40 Pesos.
Bus Fare or Ticket Prices from SM North Edsa or Trinoma to Glorietta 5 is 55 Pesos.
Rates are for 1 way and ticket prices are same if you are coming from Gloritta bound for Megamall or to the 2 North Edsa Malls.
