The Malacanang Palace announced yesterday which provinces and cities will go under General Community Quarantine starting next week. unfortunately, Metro Manila, Laguna and Cebu City are not part of them.
When Will Cebu Pacific Air Flights Resume?
Due to the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine or MECQ status of Metro Manila starting May 16 up to May 31, 2020, Cebu Pacific Air has declared that all their Cebu Pacific and CEBGO flights for domestic and international flights are CANCELLED up to May 31, 2020 or until further notice.
ALL PASSENGERS affected by these cancelled flights are suggested to visit Cebu Pacific’s website at www.cebupacificair.com and go to the MANAGE BOOKING portal before their original travel dates to ask for a FREE REBOOKING or get a Full Refund!!
For passengers with tickets for MAY 16 up to May 31, 2020
1. Free rebooking
Affected Cebu Pacific Air passengers can Rebook their domestic or international tickets to any other travel date within three (3) months. Change (rebooking) fees and fare difference are waived.
2. Full Travel Fund
You can also place the full cost of the ticket in a Travel Fund valid for one (1) year. You can use the Travel Fund within one year. You can use this Travel fund to book a new flight up to 1 year in advance or use it as payment for other Cebu Pacific Air services or add ons like paying for charges for Check Baggage fees, seat selector and others.
If the Travel Fund is not used within one (1) year, passengers can apply for a full refund.
3. Full refund
You can also opt to get a full refund for your unused Cebu Pacific Air ticket. Processing of refunds will start after the Community Quarantine is lifted and regular work schedules resume. However, due to the unprecedented volume of requests for refunds, the process will take as long as three (3) to four (4) billing cycles.
Passengers with booked flights from June 01 to September 30 who wish to change their travel plans have the following options:
· Option 1 – Rebook to any other travel date within one (1) year
Change (rebooking) fees waived, fare difference may apply.
· Option 2 – Place the full cost of the ticket in a Travel Fund valid for one (1) year
You can book for flights even if its still 1 year ahead.
So if you have Cebu Pacific Air promo and regular tickets for the months of JUNE, JULY, AUGUST and SEPTEMBER 2020 and is still uncomfortable flying even if the go signal to fly were given, you still have options not to fly and get a Rebooking option or transfer your money to a Travel Fund for future use.
