- Burnham Park
Some would go so far as saying you have never been to Baguio if you have not set foot in Burnham Park. Lovers, friends, vacationing families loves its lush pockets of gardens featuring various flowers in bloom. Its biking trails and the man-made lake where swan boats can be rented are also among the favourite activities. Baka makita mo rin si Mr Hot, Burnham’s park famous coffee man! Wag kalimutang magkape!
- The Mansion
We bet you have seen those grinning kids and young-at-heart happily posing before a stately summer house of the president of our republic. Pag akyat mo ng Baguio, go visit The Mansion too and have that souvenir photo with the mansion marker visible at your back.
- Wright Park
There are many who loves Wright Park for the horses and the opportunity to ride in one. If you don’t like horses, you can explore its vast area of pine trees, or better yet just sit at a bench and let the day pass slowly while you relax. Lest we forget, there is a small pond on the top of Wright Park, and at one end you can already see the gate of The Mansion.
- Mines View Park
Mines View gives Burnham Park a run for its money as the top tourist destination in Baguio. Almost every day the nooks and crannies of this place is pack by thousands of visitors who wants to see for themselves the stunning vista of mountains that seem to go on and on. Those with green thumb will find this park a haven for flowers and small potted plants that they can bring home like money tree, cactus and other succulents. This is also where you can find Baguio’s famous canine like Douglas and the other St Bernards. Looking at these popular dogs is free, if you want to have a picture taken it’s for a fee.
- Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto
For Catholics and especially those who venerate Mother Mary, a visit to the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto in Baguio is a must do. You do not have to worry as there are jeepneys that passes by this road.
- Session Road
Of all streets and roads in Baguio, none is as famous as Session Road. You’ve seen Macey and Anthony of That Thing Called Tadhana walk, pause and chat on this road. Go on, walk this road, who knows you might find your own Macey or Anthony if you don’t have one yet. Uyyyy… 😀
