It was found out that there are thousands of e-Passports handed out by the DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs). These passports have serial numbers fromย EB0000001 to EB1267350.
These passports are found out to be defective for their covers are easily peeled of or pages are falling off.
If you have one of these passports, you can have them replaced by visiting theย Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-Aseana) in Macapagal Avenue, Paraรฑaque City, the nearest Satellite Office (if residing in Metro Manila), or the nearest Regional Consular Office. The DFA will check whether your passport is substandard or not.
