This is the time of the year where Baguio City hosts thousands of people for their annual Flower Festival or the PANAGBENGA Festival. This festival was original founded to bring back tourism to the Summer Capital of the Philippines after a tragic earthquake shook the city in the 1990’s.

This year is the 21’st year of the festival, where not only the flowers and other produce of the mountains are showcased but the tradition and culture of the locals as well.

Expect lots and lots of activities all throughout the City of Pines this February 2016. Go to Panagbenga Park, Burnham Park, Mines View Park and SM Baguio for various events and activities.

Must see events during the Panagbenga Festival includes the Grand Street Dancing and the Grand Floral Float Parade in Session Road and Burnham Park.

But there are more must see events are Session Road in Bloom, various Floral Arrangement completions, concerts and Fireworks display.
